Basic Food Hygiene Training - Wexford Town

A Basic Food Hygiene Course has been scheduled to take place in Wexford Town on the 29th Octobr 2008 from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

This course is aimed at all food handlers in retail, catering, wholesale and small scale food production.

The Basic Food Hygiene Training Course is designed to deliver content as specified in the Training Standard published by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI).

This is the training every food handler is required by law to receive within the first three to six months of employment according to their exposure to food. This Course lays a sound foundation for every employee’s food safety knowledge.

This course contains the following modules:

Food Safety and the Law
Microbiology of Foods
Food Storage and Handling
Personal Hygiene, including best practice in case of infectious illness
Control of Cross-Contamination
Cleaning products and techniques
HACCP - what every employee should know.

Course cost is 120.00 EUR per person attending.
